Recently, my mum taught them to recite 三字经. The progression is going quite well for them. YS is learning slightly faster than YQ, but YQ is catching up soon! After hearing what MM Lee said on the National TV to encourage parents to speak more Mandarin with their children, I was relieved to know that we did the right thing for them.
