I'm anticipating for June to come...why? Becoz May was a hectic & stressful month for me & am glad that it's going to be over soon. Both kiddos are going to the same new childcare in June & hopefully it will be a good start for them. It was a critical decision for us & we felt that it will benefit them in the long run. I went with a heavy heart yesterday to submit 2 withdrawal letters to their school principal. Coincidently, it was YS school parent-teacher meeting yesterday, I met up with his teachers & these were their feedbacks:
1) YS is able to speak Mandarin fluently & sometimes he surprised me with his sentence structure. (I guess our effort to speak more with each other & learn more Mandarin from educational DVD helped him in some way)
2) He likes to shout in class & he is the loudest among his classmates. Teachers were suspecting that he was just trying to get their attention. (Ops! I think I have to try to speak more gently to him from now on)
3) Whenever there's toilet break, he will take his own sweet time to choose his preferred cubicle. *faint*
4) His command in English is improving but still on the poor side.
5) He is a very active child, unable to sit still in class.
When his principal received the withdrawal letter, she was so sad that told me that YS is a very obedient boy & always like to smile to her. Of course, YS gave hugs to his teachers & principal before bidding goodbye. His favourite Mrs Quah was not around yesterday but I guess we'll come back another to say Thank-You to her when we have the opportunity to do so.
