Thanks to Toddibox, we received a December theme box for a review. I'm glad the kiddos had a chance to try out the activities related to Christmas theme.
You might wonder, what is a Toddibox?
It is a box filled with a range of activities with the necessary materials provided based on the monthly theme & arrive at your door step at your convenience. It is suitable for children aged 3-6 years old.
About the company:
"The Toddibox team comprises of a group of trained educators who believe that the joy of learning should bring on a smile to every child’s face. Creativity, open-mindedness, inquisitiveness, laughter and parent-child bonding are what we strive for in the creation of each Toddibox. The multi-disciplinary approach to designing the activities aims to help the child relate to the real world and develop his/her confidence. We hope to make your child a self-motivated learner. As your child eagerly anticipates the arrival of his/her Toddibox each month, imagine the little one beaming with sheer delight as he/she opens the Toddibox. Most importantly, with Toddibox, the bond that grows as you and your child learn together is priceless. So have a great time with your Toddibox just as we have a great time creating it too."
Here were some of the activities the kiddos tried out:
A story book related to Christmas...
Christmas paper tree craft work
All the materials & the glue were provided for YS to stick those decors onto the tree.
Crystal snowflakes
This experiment was a failure & we did not manage to see any salt crystals formed on the pipe cleaner.
Advent Calendar
YS had a great time writing what he wants to do on the back of each paper & I hung it up in my room to bring more Christmas feel in the office :)
Tissue Paper Wreath
YQ managed to finish this simple craft work within an hour.
Overall review of Toddibox:
- I like the way how all the activities are packed separately & its not messy for busy working mother like me to randomly take out any activity I felt like doing with my children on that specific day.
- I do not need to think too hard or spend too much time to research on what activities I have to come up with to entertain my kids.
- For scientific related experiment, it will be a good idea to be more specific in the measurement & time taken to wait for the result.
If you are looking for activities for your child or for your child's birthday party, Toddibox or ToddiParty box might be a good option for you!
