On this special day, I would like thank 3 women:-
#1 My mum who has taken up the role & responsibility by being a strict parent. Being a single parent during her time was not an easy feat, she has taken up 2 roles by trying to give me a childhood as normal as possible. Her sheer determination to give me a better life & education has changed my outlook in life.
#2 My mil for being so patient, caring & helpful to us. Being a devoted Buddhist she is always teaching us about the morals & ethics a person should have.
#3 Lastly, I want to thank myself (oh...don't puke). I might not be the perfect mummy in reality. It doesn't matter if my children do not know how to appreciate what I do for them now or if my hb feels I'm not doing enough for the family, who cares right? Okay...it matters a bit. I'm just trying to look like I'm not affected by it. I'm not noble but just an ordinary mummy who gave birth to 3 children & trying her best to be the mother they can look up to & be goofy with at times.
~Mother's Day Acrostic Poem~
"M" is for million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER".
A word that means the world to me.
~By Howard Johnson~
Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies in the world!
