My kids love to read and they look forward to their weekly trip to the public library. As a parent, I believe reading habit has to be cultivated from young. I am glad to say that even the youngest child has progressed to quite an advanced reader now. When I showed them the full series of DS books from McDonald's, they were so HAPPY.
From now, McDonald's is introducing Dorling Kindersley's (DK) "Watch me Grow" and "WOW" series of books in conjunction with every Happy Meal purchase. Each customers will receive a free Happy Meal book (a choice of two new titles that will be launched every Thursday at 11am) with every purchase of a Happy Meal, while stocks last.

McDonald's kid-sized fare also includes meal options that come in 500 calories and below. On top of that, I am glad to know that McDonald's has switched their cooking oil to canola oil to fry Chicken McNuggets which is a healthier option for children. As a working mother, I have the tendency to bring them out for dining. Now I won't feel so guilty when they request for Happy Meals.
