I still remember vividly the first time I went to buy my first training bra. I was shy and alone. The promoter auntie stationed at xx brand undergarment department was busy serving other customers. As I was clueless about what bra to look for, I walked around and around looking like an idiot.
Suddenly, the promoter came over to my side and asked:
Promoter: 小妹! 你要找什么size? (Xiao Mei! What size are you looking for?)
Me: 我不知道 (I don't know)
Promoter went off and came back with the measuring tape. She started to measure my bust size and came back with a few training bras of various designs.
Promoter: 你拿去试一试 (You go and try these)
After trying, I "agar-agar" chose the design which I felt was suitable for me.
All these years, my encounter with these promoters are usually very short and rush. I don't blame them because they might be serving 2 customers or more at the same time. Very often, I assume the size and design that suit me the best. Even after childbirth, I tried to buy girdles from these pop-up booths located in the shopping centre or via online ordering to hide my bulging fats. Normally, the sizes are either too tight or too loose to conceal my flaws.

2. Professionalism
I was seated comfortably at the waiting area and tea was served immediately. I was asked to fill up a personal consultation form. Ms Elida was the personal consultant on that day and shared with me about the long term benefit of wearing shapewear to enhance our figure.
3. One to One Consultation
I was led into the fitting room and was asked to changed into a night gown and a robe. Ms Elida took my measurements carefully and came back with a few different shapewear for me to try on. The whole process was slow and she took the time to explained to me the correct way to wear these shapewear. After this session, I realised that with the correct push and pull tactics, I was able to conceal and enhance the concern areas.
4. Free Alteration
Due to my petite size *ahem*, the bodysuit needed a slight alteration to suit my size. Ms Elida personally did the alteration to make sure the measurement was done accurately and correctly. This extra service is provided free of charge for all customers.
5. After Sales Service
I was told by Ms Elida that our body shapes will change due to the prolonged wearing of shapewear. We can make appointment with D'Elegance and come back in every 3 months time for a review session. We can trade in the existing D'Elegance shapewear and purchase new ones at a discounted rate.
